Humans Melted Cat’s Face With Acid, But He Refuses To Stop Loving People.

Written by

There's a saying that everything happens for a reason. That nothing is done without a purpose. In certain situations, however, I refuse to believe that there's a good purpose behind certain actions. For example, for what logical purpose would anyone deliberately pour acid on a friendly stray cat and then abandon him afterwards?

Meet Sir Thomas Trueheart, he's a stray kitten that's been through a lot. Being an unwanted cat in California, he lived amongst the many stray cats that roamed the streets. All he wanted was some love and affection, but instead he received pain and agony. After days of wandering, however, one kind woman finally found him and immediately took him to the vet.

The acid that was poured onto his face had already caused him to lose one of his eyes.

Although the kind woman rushed him to help as soon as possible, the vet didn't seem to know what he was doing.

The vet gave him some antibiotics, tested him for FIV+, and then suggested they put the poor kittie to sleep.

Thankfully, instead of listening to the vet, the kind woman contacted Milo's Sanctuary, a non-profit specializing in giving cats a second chance in life.

The Sanctuary helps cats that have physical disabilities, terminal illnesses, or have been abused.

Here, the kittie spent over a month on antibiotics, pains medications, and was given sugar bandages to help heal the wound. He also had skin surgery.

Although humans almost ruined his life, he can't help but to continue loving and trusting humans.

Thomas is now at a Lifetime Care Foster. Anyone can sponsor him to help support his healing journey.
